    Anupama Shankar is a Mumbai based Ceramic Artist and a self trained fine artist. She has varied interests, like stone painting, oil and acrylics on canvas, dry pastels and now full time into her ceramic practice.  She works from her home studio, having learnt her basics from Delhi blue pottery, New Delhi  and Raheja school of Arts and Architecture Mumbai.
    She makes functional as well as decorative ceramics. All her pieces are handmade, some made on the wheel, while the rest are hand pinched . She then painstakingly paints them  using a fine brush, making each piece a work of art unique in its own way. She has participated in various potters markets in Mumbai and other parts of India
